Highest career assist-to-turnover ratio in NBA history among players with at least 6,000 assists.

Lil' Baw lasted 14 seasons as the shortest player in NBA history.

Surprised you didn’t lead with the career 7.7 PPG

Or the career high 24 points, miraculously achieved twice

Met that dude at house party in Germany back in 04. Whole line of dudes lined up to get a five . I laughed and said sorry about all this. He laughed and said “I’m just trying to get some arse yo”

Hall of Fame indeed.

Wikipedia rabbit hole on him taught me he went 60-0 his last two years in high school.

He had three other HS teammates that played for years in the NBA.

Muggsy - 14 years
David Wingate - 15 years
Reggie Williams - 10 years
Reggie Lewis - 6 years but only because he died early.

That's a lot of talent on one team

Id go as far as to say he is the most impressive NBA player ever.

Just for reference, Muggsy was as far from Stockton’s size as Stockton was from Malone. Think about that for a minute or two.

Its widely considered the best high school team of all time. Williams was national high school player of the year. Lewis was mostly a backup and went on to be an NBA all star.

I wouldn't fight it. The NBA would never give Muggsy the time of day in modern times and that is a travesty.

Now you have me going down a rabbit hole on this team

Players: Muggsy Bouges (NBA), Reggie Lewis (NBA), Reggie Williams (NBA), David Wingate (NBA), Gary Graham (UNLV), Tim Dawson (Miami), Keith James (UNLV), Darryl Woods (Virginia Union), Jerry White

This was a public school. Not a basketball factory that recruits players. They did play many of the top teams in the country and won by an average of 36.5 ppg. All 12 players grew up within 7 miles of each other. They had 3 NBA 1st round draft picks on the team. The statistical calculations of 3 players drafted in the first round on the same high school team is 4,037,639 to 1.

Muggsy was my favorite player growing up. Dude was electric to watch. Great player

In 1993-94 5'3" Muggsy Bogues averaged 4.1 rebounds per game.

In 2025-26 Zion Williamson averaged 5.7 rebounds per game.

If you walked by a pickup game in some inner-city, you probably have standing to argue, for inclusion into the generic all-inclusive "basketball hall of fame".

Muggsy played on the same team as Manute Bol for a time also, the USBL back in the 80s.

I don’t give a shite. He’s 2 ft shorter than anyone else he’ll run into in the paint

I was too young to remember watching him play if I ever even did see him play on tv. This threads gonna send me on a rabbit hole of highlight videos

Imagining him being one of the most impressive NBA players of all time though. Can only imagine the grit it takes for a dwarf to last in the league as long as he did and put up the numbers he did

I think Hot Rod Williams was also on that team.

If he was good enough to play today, he would play. If he wasn’t a viable option, he wouldn’t play.

Muggsy was awesome, and him being as good as he was at 5’3” is one of the most impressive things in NBA history.

That being said, the HOF is not a charity case. Andre Miller had a clearly better career than Bogues, and Andre Miller is sure as hell not a hall of famer.
