He's on track for a Dylan Crews, Jared Jones type season. Unless something dramatic happens, there's one big difference.corrector!

Edit:

Thank you auto-correct correctors!

Jake needs to turn the corner from a piece of the puzzle to the piece of the puzzle.

No one to protect him. Curiel is good but he is more of a lead-off guy. Brown hits A LOT of solo HRs, so Curiel can never drive him in. Then Milam has been lack luster at the plate and you don’t have any bats at the plate like a Frey or Dickinson so your left with a major gap between 4-8 in the order

Relying too much on Arambide and Serna, who have both been great in moments, but still struggle at times. Serna is more understandable since he is a freshman. Also, I have no data to back this up, but seems like Arambide hits better when he’s not catching and just DH

Is he related to Jose Cruz?

Yes. The hitting isn’t terrible but they seem to really struggle against starters but fair a lot better against the bullpens. Have to change that narrative if you wanna make it to 14 SEC wins

1. Jared Jones and Dylan Crews had very different types of seasons. Dylan Crews had one of the best hitting seasons in LSU baseball history.

2. We have had a lot of players over the years put up numbers like Brown has this season. Great season, but let's not get crazy here

Really like Jake Brown, but he’s batting .228 in SEC play. He hasn’t been even half of what Crews was. Needs to be more against the best teams to say statements like that. We need him to be better the next month tbh.

That’s a far cry from Brady Neal’s .393/493/643 SEC slash line

Jake is a catcher? I don’t understand the comparison? Also, where is Brady’s National Championship? I must have missed it.

No. He will go pro and be a great representative from LSU. Or do something else and be a great representative from LSU.

one thing ive noticed is as a baseball player you can be having a really good season but no one cares if your team sucks. And your good moments dont stand out as much.

They're talking about hitting, I know you probably don't understand what those numbers mean. though.

After watching Neal for 2 years here absolutely suck and then last year his stats were identical at bama he needed to have a decent year. For 3 years he was absolutely terrible season isn’t over yet he could still go back to the Neal everyone has seen for 3 years. He can’t catch we know we that so does bama we tried playing him in the outfield was equally as bad as his hitting. Don’t care if he hits .500 I was so sick of that dude after 2 seasons I’m glad I didn’t have to watch him for his 3rd and 4th. He was also a big tit always pouting about strike calls he deserves to be a gump or a faggie. Good riddance to that dude.
