He’s also a 5* basketball player and although Nebraska had a great year, they aren’t some blue blood basketball program. He has to have some random connection to them.

Kiffin plus Wade is a much better offensive outcome for Hudson compared to Rhule who might get fired and Fred who can’t count to 5

Former OU head coach, Barry Switzer, in his prime days at OU, once commented there is nothing for black players to do in the winter beside " going to movies & bowling." This about the time his starting black QB was found to have a machine gun in his dorm apt. He included Neb. as well.

There was a time Nebraska could come to Louisiana and raid the state for any blue chip player they wanted. Maybe before your time. The 70s and 80s. The huskers were a powerhouse

Last year he was pretty much all Nebraska, named him their leader back in November. Things changed in a big way once Kiffin came in.
The premium site mods would tell you exactly the same, we were well behind Nebraska before we made the coaching change. There were picks being put in for him to land at Nebraska.
Take a look at Kiffin's recent production from TEs that frankly arent even NFL caliber. 635 yards from Wright this past season, expected to be 7th round/UDFA. 400 yards EACH from both Wright and Prieskorn in 2024 . Prieskorn went undrafted. Nebraska by comparison just barely uses TEs. Getting Kiffin was a huge momentum shift in the recruitment, he will see what Green does this season and be very happy he committed here. Green had 433 yards and 7 TD in just 8 games in a very terrible offense this past year. Dude is going to absolutely explode this season.
