As successful as he has been, the glaring central figure of the demise is Jay Johnson.

You can argue that it’s partly his assistants, but he’s the head dude; he’s got to be accountable or he’s going to lose credibility. Either they swiffed on recruiting, or (and) they didn’t coach emup. He was obviously great in 23 and 25, but just fess up and take accountability. We will be in the mix asap.

You aren't wrong. He's a great coach but this year is a head scratcher for sure how he let it get this bad. Throw in the whining about funding and it's not a great look

This guy Eli Manning’d a couple of rings and you got people still claiming he’s the best coach in baseball when he’s not. And his 3 bad years prove it.
Eli Manning was never the best QB in the NFL. Ever. Even with 2 super bowls. Same can be said for Johnson.

Name 1 better than CJJ? I always thought Brian O’Connor was the best, but he’s 0 of his last 6 with a stacked roster. Baseball is a unique sport, you need a massive latent gap to win when the team is not clicking.
Jay’s first year at LSU was actually great. That team had maybe 3 good players and he grabbed whatever was left in the portal to complete the team. A year later he wins the natty.
