A Republican governor won’t happen in California, but if it did, nothing would change. Nothing.

It was a brilliant move of Paulina Luna to force a vote for his expulsion. It doesn't make any sense to force him out of the governor's race but also vote to allow him to stay in Congress.

He would have to run for reelection for congress this year. I do not think you can run for both governor and congress at the same time. It also looks like it is to late to enter the congressional race. So it is governor or k street.

You are right. There's a good chance that Scumbag Swallwell was set up with these allegations, so he'd be forced to drop out of the race. He seems to be the most unlikeable (which is why he was picked). The jungle primary means the top 2 vote getters head to the general election and there are 7 Dems splitting the vote right now.

Yes. It's CA voters.
But after I just heard his statement on the allegations against him, I no longer think he will be their next Governor like i did just a week ago. His statement was basically an admission of guilt. I believe that he has politically "peaked", and he knows it.
Frankly he should have been forcefully expelled from Congress after Fang Fang IMO, but whatever.
