Looking for something to sip on on my front porch every now and then in the evenings. What are you fellas sipping?

Yes I know about the twenty seven thousand post whiskey/bourbon thread but I’m too lazy to read that many post!

I love the double-barreled bourbons like Old Forester 1910 and Woodford Double Oaked. Darker, more impact from the char, a little sweeter. Those are in the $50 range.

For more like $25 or $30, I like Buffalo Trace, regular Old Forester, and Woodford Reserve.

Barrell Seagrass is the correct answer.

Another for Buffalo Trace. Also like Basil Hayden.

You could certainly do much worse than a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed, barrel proof...

I've been digging Elijah Craig lately, but Buffalo Trace is great.

Going to have to buy a rolex before you can post in that one.

Are you sipping neat or with a splash? Cause if you are going to cut it or let the ice melt and water it down, BT, Old Forester, Elijah Craig, etc will do.

Old Forester 1910

Is what I would suggest for a bourbon. Only 93 proof, approachable, but still good quality whiskey.

Great list…I’ll add a good sipping rye, Sagamore Double Oaked.

I have been thinking about picking this one up. Have heard good things. However, I need to drink some bottles first.

Anyone in River Ridge want to help? Lol

I wish this was more available in my area. I have to get a bottle from Baton Rouge friends/family every time I run out.
