let some former champions like Crenshaw and Faldo have some time in the spotlight.

Nicklaus looked really bad today and Player, even though remarkably fit, has had a long enough time as honorary starter.

Put Crenshaw, Faldo, and Watson together for the next 8 years and then bring Phil and Tiger in by about 2035.

Tiger may not be able to swing a club in 5 years if he keeps getting fricked up and driving into trees

They get it until they want to step aside or they pass away.

How about we enjoy our legends while they’re still with us

We’re going straight from Nicklaus and Player to Tiger and Phil

I don’t think he would be bad if they decided to step aside, but it should clearly be their choice. I wouldn’t be shocked if Jack stopped doing it, but Gary would never ever step away from that spotlight

And Phil has no chance to be invited into that spot

I’ve got a great idea, let’s let zany Pat Macafee and Jason Kelce do it! They can even be shirtless it would be so funny!

I don’t think so on Phil.

Freddie may slide into that spot at some point

Couples?

Honorary starters should have multiple green jackets,

He had just one Masters win and got really lucky that his ball did not roll down into the water on 12. I have never seen the ball stop on that slope.

Never substitute popularity for achievement.

86 y/o still appears very lucid - has the most ever jackets - and Woods is not gonna tie him -

if he's physically able - let him open the tournament as long as he wants -

let them join Nicklaus Player Watson - make it 5 -

Who we gonna get from that era? Phil is unquestionably the #2 player of the Tiger era

The only worthy player between Nicklaus and Tiger is Tom Watson, maybe

I think it should be Phil I just don’t think Augusta will select him. Something about burned bridges and what not
