I'm 40 and I want to build a blanket fort in the closet

Hear me out.
We have black out shades and curtains in the master bedroom. Solid doors with a seal on the bottom. No windows in the bathroom. And then a solid door to my closet.
I feel like I could get the best night sleep in there.
Alas... Being an adult means the wife won't support this endeavor.

My last gf(of 9 years) would have been excited about this idea 
Every once in a while back a ways we’d put a mattress in the living room and turn it into a fort of sorts with the couch.

i slept in a walk-in closet for most of law school exam seasons. I'm a night owl worker when it's stuff on which i really need to focus. pitch-dark isolation chamber is the only answer for sleeping in.
it's also a primordial instinct to want to sleep in a cave.

She was/is REALLY comfortable with close friends. Playfulness nudity as stuff like that was constant. But she does not sleep around. I’ve known her for well over 10 years and in that time she slept with 2 people. 1 her now husband.
Awesome chick and just a good friend.

My parents thought I was absolutely insane but I loved it. shite just felt right.

Had an uncle who lost a thumb because a brown recluse bit him while he was getting something out of his closet.
