Why don't people wait to see what actually happens...

...before freaking out one way or the other. Everyone has the attention span of gnats these days. It's a sad situation.

Because we live in a sensationalism society where everyone needs to be angry at every crumb of info. It's so damn exhausting. We are losing ourselves as a people and a culture. We have become a nation of SFPs

Are we talking about employers of illegals being arrested and walked away in handcuffs? I am still waiting on that to happen.

People decide what is right and what is going to happen with absolutely no knowledge almost immediately, which forces them to see every event as proof of their preconceived notion. When something doesn't jive with their opinion, they either spin like a top or just say it's untrue.

A couple of reasons honestly....
1) A desire to be seen as smart by predicting what is going to happen, followed by reminding everyone how right they were if they end up correct.
2) Our society has been conditioned for immediate reactions. See something? Send out a tweet. People want to be first.
3) Even in debates, which are supposed to be for an exchange of information and a critical view of both viewpoints to determine which opinion is more tenable, things have progressively become more about "dunking" on the other side. Sometimes I think people argue just to argue and it really isn't about an examination of the pertinent information, it's just about "winning."

If everybody used the Dan Bongino rule, this country would be 75% less Panicans all over the place and life would be so much better for everybody because people would not be jumping off the first cliff they can fid

People are spending 12 hours a day on this forum. You gotta do something to fill that time.

You’ve pretty much described me. I have my concerns but that’s all they are and they will have absolutely zero impact on anything that is happening behind closed doors. So why should I get up in arms about it? I shouldn’t so I don’t.

It's funny seeing you guys ask for patience when the President of the US is making claims that the war is over after 3 days and how fast he can get deals done, etc., etc.

I agree. We haven’t reached a conclusion yet. So the Admin doesn’t need to make a declaration that confuses the issue.
Which is why I was asking what Leavitt was talking about calling it a huge victory. It didn’t make sense.
It wasn’t a “gotcha” question…

We have too many people being told WHAT to think by “influencers” and other people that make money off outrage.
Outrage and racism have heavily been monetized and so are not ever going away.
People get told the sky is falling or WWIII is happening and so go around parroting this. Goes for both sides.

Because whining and complaining now about anything and everything keeps the negativity toward Trump flowing. Negativity is 100% guaranteed this way. And it eats away at people. It fatigues them. Deep down some people even start to believe maybe Trump is indeed the anti-christ. Others, while they may like him somewhat, just want his term to be over because they think things will go back to "normal" when that happens.
If they wait to see what happens, and Trump comes out of this smelling like roses.... then what? I mean, they'll still whine, but rational people can more clearly see how batshit crazy they are.
Like it or not, it's an effective strategy.

“Wait and see” is what people say when they don’t want to defend what’s happening right now.

I don't think this is what the wise man said.

Do you realize how much whining about Trump would flow under the bridge if people did that?
Posted on 4/8/26 at 11:36 am to TigerBait1971
Because it's so much fun for these tards to either say Trump is a war criminal or Taco. They are living their life right now looking at any piece of news to ridicule or vilify Trump. They are simps the lot of them.
