Indians are completely fine. The problem has always been Muslims. They did 911, spreading Sharia law, and hate Jews / antisemitism. Islam is not compatible with western values. Indians / Hindus are perfectly compatible and are integrated well. Hell, most Hindu Indians I have interacted with are big supporters of Israel. Our values align.

I really don't see the need for pearl clutching here. Christians are not bothered in India under any government policy and holidays like Christmas and Easter are celebrated there without being interfered with. There are something like 30 million Christians in India. The PM goes to Christian celebrations like Christmas and even issued an Easter proclamation. So I don't see the need to get up in arms over Diwali.
