Who wrote the Bible?

As a devout Christian for decades, I had an interesting thought during our Easter Church service as our Pastor was giving us a verse from John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life":
Without the Bible, we’d live in unholy pastors for eternity. We know Jesus didn’t write the Bible because he was too busy fighting against our sins, so who did and why don’t they get credit for it?

Jude was also the brother of Jesus. Neither of them accepted him as the Christ before he was crucified.
