This is from 2014 but is trending today for some reason
A player lost dramatically in a high-stakes poker hand with a $1,000,000 buy-in at the WSOP Europe in Prague, running aces into aces followed by a runner-runner flush

Probably one of the worst beats I have ever seen

Big punch in the nads
We have come a long way from the 10K buy-ins in Vegas to now 1M

The 4 A's losing to a Royal Flush was probably the worst I've seen.

So if that last card wasn’t a heart…who wins?

There is always one guy in a poker room that if someone just gets lucky on a big hand where they played something that was unorthodox and end up winning a big pot, that guy will get in his feelings and be big mad.
Some of those guys take poker wayyyyyyy too serious

I thought I heard them say ace of spades is the highest ace.

Ahh ok. I was wondering if there were “ties” in poker lol

Got that lucky and just barely got his money back in the end.

It is kind of funny that the guy that asked to chop the pot ended up winning the hand at the end.

Kind of glad to see the douche in the shades go down.

Over 10 years ago i got a screenshot from a 10000 player freeroll. Just a fun thing i played in all the time but this time i was 8 hours deep and in the final 21 or so. I ended up with pocket As and flopped 4 of a kind. I slow played and lost to a royal flush.
8 hours deep, busted with 4 aces by a royal after he hits runner runner. Is there a worse bad beat? I wrote in the chat "unbelieve" before i took the screenshot lol.
I have awfuls gamblers luck. Used to have a buddy i told not to scratch his scratch cards around me because theyll always be losers. He was determined to prove me wrong but eventually he believed me. Was at a wedding thing and they had scratch cards at the table for everyone, everyone lost.

i think that would only apply if it was just a high card wins scenario.
Pair of Ace Diamond/Spade is the same as pair of Ace Clubs/Hearts.
even then, in regular hold 'em, they would just go to the second best card in each players hand I think.
Bridge and Spades are the only games I know where they suits have rankings (just spades for Spades)

I’m not a big poker guy, but how does that happen? Doesn’t the royal flush use up one of the 4 aces?
