Pitino isn’t going anywhere at this point.
A better analogy will be what hoops they jump through to excuse another coach’s decision to accept one of the better perceived jobs like UNC or Kansas.
They just can’t believe that a school like LSU is swinging its big ol’ tiger dick around and getting whatever coaches they want.

What does LSU owe NC State? A heads up they are going to take their coach? How about NC State's AD do his job and be aware of the marketplace...at all times. LSU could not have been more transparent a run at Wade was forthcoming. Be prepared, moron?
And why would Wade discuss LSU until he decided he was going to take the job? What if LSU made a run and he declined? Why disrupt your team by saying you inquired about the LSU job if it turns out to be nothing?
Then they dovetail this BS into the Lane Kiffin hire. Why is it LSU's responsibility to wait to try to hire Ole Miss's coach until the CFP is over? It's not LSU's job to look out for Ole Miss to make sure Ole Miss has success. Quite the opposition actually.
None of these coaches are FORCED to go to LSU. They could all say no and end things immediately. LSU may have talked to Kiffin and Wade before the end of their respective seasons. But LSU didn't come out and say so publicly, nor did they demand each coach to accept the job before their school's season ended. Ole Miss told Kiffin to decide...so he did...he chose LSU. LSU gave Wade the offer...and he took it. Maybe Boo should have been aware of things in his athletic department before this week.
