Wade in Tiger Stadium

Imagine, if you will, November 6th, Saturday night in Death Valley. Coach Kiffin has led our Tigers to an 8-0 record and a Top 5 National Ranking. It’s in the 2nd Quarter and LSU is up by a TD on Bama. The Tigers have the ball and are driving and Deboer calls time out to give his defense a breather.
The lights dim and you hear a drum beat and the sounds of marching over the sound system. The video board starts showing basketball highlights. The highlight video ends and as the lights come up as Dixon asks us to welcome the 2026 basketball tigers and announces that the general has returned from exile. There on the 20 stands Will m’fin Wade with his team. That stadium will go freakin nuts!!!!! BOOT UP!

Listen, and I mean this with all sincerity and respect to Wade..........if LSU is in a tight matchup in November against Bama in a matchup of undefeateds, no one will give a fiddlers fook about basketball at that moment.

The odd obsession some posters have about Will Wade is off putting and borders on creepy. This, rather than the belief that he's not a good coach, is why a lot of posters are negative about Wade. Wade's a good coach and seems like a cool dude. Some of you are just weird.

When Wade's team makes it past the first round of the SEC tournament and into the first round of the NCAA tournament, without violating University or NCAA rules, come back. Until then, go away.

Cool thing about the OP is if Wade is in Tiger Stadium on Nov. 6th he'll be all by himself. That's a Friday.

What about when he takes a team from the Southland conference and beats an ACC team that went 18-2 in ACC play in the NCAA Tournament
The Wade haters are a pretty sad bunch. Imagine your only argument being that "he hasn't made it past the second round" when (A) he was only allowed to coach in one NCAA Tournament and (b) even his one NCAA Tournament win matched the total of NCAA tournament wins by Johnson, Jones, and McMahon...COMBINED!
