I've been a WW supporter from day one, if nothing else because of the energy (and the relevance) he brought back to the program. He won enough for me at the time and he was building something. And you could always tell he gave a shite. I felt the admin should have stood by him and middle fingered the NCAA. I am over the moon he is back, never thought it would happen. I'm pinching myself.

It was always going to be one of the biggest what ifs for LSU until we got him back. Never thought things would align perfectly so soon.

During all of the MM tenure, the WW supporters and dreamers were called delusional (akin to the PT conspiracists).
The MSM / SM know it alls have egg on their face, damaged pride and should be humbled due to their flippant dismissal of not only the fan bases desires, the lsu admins actual support of the MB fan base and WWs desire to be the LSUMB coach.
WW left the powerhouse, blue blood ACC to come home and restore and create a legacy.

Maybe but you have to understand the position. The stuff swirling around the basketball program was potentially a sea anchor to the cash cow of football. It was too large an investment not to protect.
Hindsight says that any punishment would have been vacated, but the administration thought they had to react to the laws of the land at the time. You may not agree with it but you have to see why they did it.

Basketball was as good as it has been in a really long time under wade. Some of you post as if you would prefer that the program remain completely irrelevant. Why is that?
