People that try and finish your words when you talk.

I talk to a lot of people in person daily. I've long noticed many older women do this. Often black women. It's not a rare occurrence so I'm wondering if others noticed this.
Like they will hurry out the last word of a statement your making. My nurse did it this morning. Then I had two customers later in the day. It's odd and I wonder if it's like a tic or is it just common. Like the odd way of saying "excuse" that you hear locally.

Don’t know what this means but it’s way worse when others start talking before you end your statement.

It's mostly older people who do it. Several in my family that are exhausting to try to talk to.
If a buddy does it, it's usually a sign that they're drunk.

No real point. I'm curious if others have noticed this. That's all.

Are as annoying as people speak slowly, weighing every word and the impact it might have, and find it almost impossible to get to the point.

This is much better than the idiots out there that frequently use the wrong words in sentences and ramble about nonsense

And that will be the next thread.
Think your sentence out before you try to deliver it.
It will help in many ways.
I'm old. I can't wait forever. Not to mention, I probably know what you are going to say cause... I'm old.
Did I mention I'm old?

I'm very seldom around black women, and the women I find myself around are not rude enough to do that.
Hang around better people.

I had a stroke several years ago and during my rehab, speech was very difficult. During that time people would do this regularly. I realize that people thought they were helping. However, it used to piss me off so bad, that I would often discontinue the conversation.

After about twice of that happening, i usually say please don’t do that.
It gets really annoying and frustrating

Annoying. And rude.
If someone is struggling for a word or concept, you'd be rude not to help them.

My wife will stop me mid sentence and respond and I tell her that means she isn't listening to me, but giving me her response before I even finished my thought

100% this. It’s not my fault my brain can process quicker than yours. Catch up.

Maybe they just playing pretend that they're your twin.
