I am reminded of an employee we hired. She interviewed as Amanda. The day the 90-day probationary period ended, she announced she would now like to be known as Chase and began transition using her newly acquired healthcare benefits. Chase lost "his" absolute mind over the next 6 months. We were in progressive discipline before "he" finally submitted a resignation...and then tried to claim unemployment benefits.
The endocrinologists can give you a hormone that makes you appear as the other sex, but no one really knows what these things do to neurological function. And unlike many drugs, the blood brain barrier poses no impediment to steroid hormones.
