This is obviously purposeful.
There's a plan to stretch this out and have at least one major airport in the news every day.
I hope at the end of this there are small bonuses or rewards to those that pulled no shenanigans- at both the individual level and airport level.

I think it's gross they have such a hard on for leveraging people's pain and inconvenience. I'm struggling to remember if the GOP has done similar.

The bigger question is why do people put up with it. Nobody has to be somewhere.

GOP controls the House, Senate and Executive. The blame is with them. All they have to do is waive that 60 vote rule and they get done everything they want.
