Let’s talk about Pick 42

We’ve had all the debates on Bain vs. Bailey, Downs’ knee, off ball vs on ball LBers, RBs picked in the top 10, and OL. It will be very dependent on who we take in the first, but what guys are you looking for with our 2nd round pick.
Some players I’m looking for at 42:
Chase Bisontis, OG aTm - Best OG after Ioane. And I really want to fix our OL.
Germie-Bernard, WR bama - Just an overall solid WR. Comps out to Jarvis Landry.
Denzel-Boston, WR Washington Bigger WR with good route running and good hands. Not the swiftest guy, but solid.
We need a run stuffer. Not sure any of these guys will make it to us, but I’d take any of them at 42.
Christen Miller, NT UGA
Kayden McDonald, NT tOSU
Lee Hunter, NT Texas Tech
Malachi Lawrence, OLB UCF Pass rushing specialist we could use if we go another position with our first pick.
If we don’t get Styles at 8, I like both these guys as long term Demario Davis replacements. I think CJ Allen might be a little underrated.
Anthony Hill Jr., LB Texas
CJ Allen, LB Georgia

I like the list. Throw in Jacob Rodriguez and Keionte Scott too.

I know he’s undersized, but D’Angelo Ponds.

IMO, there's often a lot of value near the top of the second round and I think it's likely that a player that got a strong first round grade would still be available at 42. That's all I got.

No WR Chris Bell? That's been the chalk pick for weeks, Tyler's boy from Louisville.

Move Anthony hill off your list and add Jacob Rodriguez

Why is the post about Bell being downvoted? Is it that he’s not liked as a prospect of bc he won’t be around at 42? I very much want our second year qb to get a playmaker in either R1 or R2. And with the signing of Etienne, that means WR.

Would love Downs, Bell, and Rutledge with our first three picks.

How do you guys feel about Brazzell the Tenn WR at 42?

42 seems like the perfect place to get a WR

I want Malachi Lawrence if he’s on the board. If not, Chris bell

I’d almost be shocked if it’s not Chris Bell… he’s exactly what we need and obviously Tyler is pushing for him.
Malachi Lawrence is someone I’d take if we don’t take Bell tho

Ted Hurst will be the pick if the Saints go WR

I really like D’Angelo Ponds, Chris Johnson, Malachi Lawrence, Germie Bernard, and Skyler Bell there, depending on who we take at #8.

I haven't had a ton of extra time to read up and watch clips of the players that are day 2 picks. But with Keylan Rutledge (guard GT) it looks like he could go anywhere from Round 2-4?
guess it just depends on what team values him the most.
but if he could be had in the 3rd or 4th that would be nice.
Quality run blocker!
