That's a two week old quote. Nothing new? Yeah he's coming

The Saban thing is a bad example. That was an outlier. He stayed exactly where he said he was going to stay each and every time after that. I don’t know what to believe about Will Wade coming back or not, but the Saban thing is dated and debunked.

You can promote your team without going in depth about the future. His comments make it sound like he's very disappointed "this is the worst team we will have at NC State", and he has a chip on his shoulder for next year. He then continues talking about how they didn't have a bunch of time to put a team together, and that there were personality conflicts and they will take that into account this upcoming season. It's totally different than what most coaches do, which is stay in that grey area, in the situation you're talking about. He actually gave a plan moving forward and doubled down on his commitment.

I would expect no less, especially if nothing is signed or negotiations are on-going. Nobody knows what the current situation was at the time he was asked and answered. My ethics would have me doing the job I'm in to the best of my ability as long as I'm in that job. In short, his sharing that he's thinking about his team and working with his current administration does not put him in a different category. He's in the grey area. You just believe he's signaling that he's staying. None of his statements affirm that.

This fan base is in full denial. They cant be told this enough that he isnt coming
