WASHINGTON – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged an arrest detainer asking sanctuary politicians to not release Jose Medina-Medina, a Venezuelan criminal illegal alien arrested for killing 18-year-old Sheridan Gorman in Chicago, Illinois.
According to local reports, 18-year-old Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman was shot and killed on Thursday morning around 1:00 am while she was walking in a park with friends. Medina-Medina is accused of approaching her while wearing a mask and armed with a gun. As she attempted to flee, he fired his gun and shot her. Gorman was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.

The girls family seem to not care about speaking out. If he doesn't do this I can see them being a horn in his fat arse.
Though he could say they will hold him until trial. And try to release him on the DL.
If ICE offered to take him and send him to El Salvador prison then I'm sure the parents would be ok with that.

The family released a statement on Saturday, and I believe her parents have been in contact with national media outlets to make sure this story doesn't get buried because Chicago media and politicians have been trying to downplay it.
The Sun-Times headline saying "Wrong Place, Wrong Time" and the Tribune referring to the Venezuelan illegal as "a Rogers Park man" pissed them off. Then the frontpage of the Sunday Tribune had a tone-deaf column about the plight of illegals called "Who Gets To Be an American?"

My favorite Pritzker idea…we’re going to prosecute those in ICE and this administration in violation of the law. Not those of us harboring illegals and not cooperating with federal forces by allowing illegals out on the streets with legally authorized detainers, of course, the ones we disagree with.

Girl reminds me of my youngest, still in college. I can't imagine how devestated her family must be right now.
