I really hope we can keep this entire freshman class here for 4 years.

I could see a player like Divine Bourrage or Meghan Yarnevich leaving for more playing time (possibly with Gary Redus at Rutgers?), especially if Mulkey lands a couple of senior/junior portal players in about 3 weeks, whose experience would keep them on the bench.

In today's climate I could see any of these women leaving. Hopefully they all stay

Mulkey and staff have actually done a great job at retaining the players they want to retain over the years. Samiah Smith is the only one I can think of (HVL didn’t fit the scheme).

The girls that commit to play for Mulkey have a mental toughness that helps.

Forgot that Sy’Myah transferred to UVA.
She averaged 8.2 points & 6.8 rebounds in 2026 for the Cavaliers.

The #10 seed UVA play #2 seed Iowa tomorrow afternoon to try to advance to the sweet 16. Iowa is a 13.5 point favorite.

Maybe. Jada will be point. Fulwiley probably starts at the 2. Bella is a good player and will get plenty of pt.

Sy'Myah really wanted to stay here, but she was offered a much larger NIL deal than LSU could. She played very well in Virginia's first round game and she definately would have helped us this year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Fulwiley remain as the sixth person. She can fill the role like John Havlicek did throughiout his long career witht e Celtics.
Unless there is some rule against it now I would like to see her introduced with the starters the way Willie Sims was as teh best sixth man in all of college basketball 1978 to 1981.

"She's fine". There's a picture of her, from a podcast, with her hair almost down to her shoulders, in a good way, frizzy. Looks like a totally different person. Again, in a good way.

Her stat line this season (12 minutes per game)
• Points per game: 4.1
• Rebounds per game: 2.1–2.3
• Assists per game: 1.0–1.1
• Field Goal %: ~43–45%
• 3-Point %: ~34–38%
A “Beast” is a little strong, She’s a really nice bench player and very strong defensively. I think with more minutes, we’ll get a true sense of how she performs offensively. She’s definitely been a nice surprise.

She has really improved as the year has progressed. She has bought into the intensity Mulkey demands and is a very good defensive player that happens to have a nice shot. At this time, Johnson and Knox are better, but Bella is narrowing the gap.
The massive improvement of Jada Richard also deserves mention. What a difference a year makes.
