You’re telling me you want to fire Jay after 2 nattys in the past 3 years. Arkansas hasn’t even sniffed one and they are not screaming fire van horn. If you truly think we should fire Jay you need help. Like go to the hospital.

Anyone who wants to fire Jay is an idiot.
It’s a bad team right now, but Jay is an elite coach and he will bring better teams and compete for championships going forward.

I just wrote this in another thread and it applies here….
I sometimes question some things, like ever letting Reaves see the field except maybe a midweek, but I realize that Jay knows much more than I do.
So I just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Jay is an excellent coach.
Some fans are ridiculous. Some fans get so upset about their sports teams not doing well that it inevitably ruins their day. It’s a lack of perspective, and priorities in life

Jay gets paid in excess of $3 million a year. You know why? Because he coaches at a program that has tens of thousands of fans that really care about LSU baseball.
When fans care, they bitch when things don’t go the way they expect them to.
Do you know what the absolute worst thing that can happen to a program is? Silence. Apathy. When no one is bitching after losses then we have a real problem.
People ranting is not because they want to destroy the program. They are ranting because they actually care enough about the program to express their emotions.

beth has not ever won the sec or sec tourney and has not made OKC since 2017. she makes well over 400k. i can only imagine what you would want to do to her( i presume something way worse than firing like some posters want...you would want to fine her and throw her in jail most likeley) being you are crying over a mens coach who wins nattys 2 outta last 3 years. wish we could say that about the softball program.
