.368 BA, 7 for 19, 9 RBIs, 2 HRs
5-game hitting streak
vs. SEC pitching
.363 4-11, 4 RBIs
Good to see he's coming around.

Please start him over Arrambide. Arrambide does not need to play anymore in any regard

Arrambide started the season red hot as a hitter. He’s a little better at receiving than Omar.
We definitely want more Omar in the line up. As a freshman, he’s already proven he can hit for power and high average against SEC pitching.

I don’t think he has hit his stride yet.
It seems like he “mishits” the ball and still ends up at the wall. Seems to be be very powerful, and when he starts hitting it on the button consistently… watch out.

I haven't given up on Arrambide. He can hit. Jay likes him, so there's that.

Serna isn't far from catching him IMO. I wouldn't mind seeing one of them play a corner IF spot sometimes to get more offense in the lineup though

I like having them both in the lineup - one as DH while the other catches - need both bats.

Neither one of them can field their own position when they know where the ball is going. Now we want them trying to field ground balls for the first time? I’ll pass

Obviously catching is much different and more difficult

You don’t just put someone who has never played in the infield there in the middle of the season
Remember when Jared Jones tried to play third base in a midweek game? This would be worse

Arrambide in SEC Games
(5-16) .312 / .381 / .438
2 2B
4 RBI
Both he and Serna look like two of your 9 best players. Arrambide had a rough 1st inning behind the dish but he was pretty smooth the rest of the game.

I'm pretty certain Serna played a good bit of 1B in preseason and fall practice. No idea how well he performed though.
I'm not advocating for him to start at 1B this weekend. I'm just saying I'd be interested in seeing the experiment
Eta: Serna came in to play 1st vs Northeastern and Sac St. Maybe it helps you get another RH bat in the lineup vs LHP without putting Pearson on a bag

I thought we were supposed to bench him? And Evans. And Pearson. And York.

I'm only a dick to the people that deserve it.
So if you think I'm a dick to you, look in the mirror.

I was thinking more if 1st base then 3rdbase
