Long live the 80's, baws.

That was pretty much the official song of our freshman year of college spring break in 2010. We absolutely wore it out at our beach house in panama city. Idk why but it just stuck and we had it on repeat. I think of that trip every time i hear it. Good times

was Gordon Beckham's walkout song in college. Anytime I hear that very first note I instantly think of that era of uga baseball and getting tanked in the parking lot and/or the party house in right field

Every bar in Uptown New Orleans played this song at least twice a night.

The Outfield is one of the most underrated bands & this song is amazing. I even loved their second album. The guy on the keyboards with sunglasses in this video wasn’t even in the band. He was just a friend they put in the video.

You are getting a lot of younger people (teens) that are discovering 80's music and really like it. A lot of it is due to the absence of a clear defining generational music genre for this generation. Then you throw a song on TikTok and they "discover" it and it balloons from there.

I'd ask if you won, but I already know that you did.

Damn straight. It was a complete band lip sync with guitars, drums, etc. I was singing and playing the bass.

And I did the cool bass slap in the song - you know the one.

You sure abut that? Their touring keyboard player was Reg Webb, and he was blind.

Saw them open for Starship at Pensacola Beach Spring Break 1986. They were amazing!

Reg also played on the album Play Deep. While not "in the band" he was far more integral to the album than "a friend of the band"
