NC State basketball season is over as they lose by 2 points to Texas. Bring the General home!

Will Wade has missed the post season exactly 1 time in his career-a 22-10 year at it Chattanooga his second season as coach
He has made the ncaa tournament 6 out of the last 6 tournaments that were held in seasons he coached. If you count the Covid year which we were absolutely in its 7.

I doubt he comes back but the fanbase loved the guy and the student body was completely enamored with him.

I just feel LSU should aim higher than Wade. Or at least find someone as good, maybe better, without the baggage.
LSU signaled it was all in with the Lane hire. They're getting the best. Why settle for a retread? LSU basketball in the PMAC was a force back in the day. Lets start over actually make an informed hire.

It’s funny that you see Wade as having baggage but not lane.
Additionally to compare LSU football and its ability to pull a coach is different than basketball and I am well established on this board as pumping the basketball program.

I almost hope that LSU hires WW just so I can watch all of the WW nut slurpers turn on him as he continues to get bounced out of the postseason the moment he plays a real team in the first round or so in the tourney.
Maybe we can even throw in some more FBI wiretaps along the way.

Go take a look at Scott Drew's career at Baylor. He consistently made the tournament for years, and won the title in his EIGHTEENTH season there. You numb nuts ackin like he's been a coach for 30 years and he's in his 60s. It's laughable.
We're not Duke. I would take a Scott Drew type tenure from Wade in a heartbeat. So would any RATIONAL Tiger fan.
