HEB went up on their shrimps

I have never bought shrimp from the grocery store only at the shrimp docks. I am guessing bc people still buy them.

I thought they were running a sale this week? They were $6.97/lb

Publix is better anyway.

They sell Gulf Of America Shrimp, they have a large selection.

Yep.

I prefer getting 30-40 lbs of shrimp from the docks, either around the camp in Grand Isle, or if back home in Ft. Bend, heading down to the docks around Seabrook. Getting them unfrozen and then freezing them in water myself.

However, though usually previously frozen, the Texas GoA brown shrimp at HEB definitely works. I also like their Argentinian shrimps for pastas.

It’s on all the current lease packets, bonds, etc written up by BOEM for projects in the Gulf. Took me a while to get used to it, and “GOA” didn’t seem as natural to say as “GOM”, but…seeing it on a fairly regular basis has it formed into by brain now.
