I am cautiously optimistic. The reason I'm not freaking out is because we have a president who plays to win, rather than to not lose. We shall see if he ends up successful or not.

I agree with this. However, just because someone plays to win doesn’t mean they can’t overplay their hand. I sincerely hope Trump is successful in these endeavors. I fear he has gotten over his skis, and the resulting quagmire will collapse his presidency.

You can believe in Jesus Christ and that he is our savior and also believe he is not coming to save everyone from war in the middle east. God gave us freewill. He did not make us puppets on a string.

Completely agree. But down voting a post about going to mass and praying is absurd.
Ultimately, in the end we win, but it’s going to get very painful before that. Just look at the satanic ideology we call Islam. It’s spreading and growing.

We need a board devoted to Religion.
Very close to half of the thoughts posted here on Politcal Talk pertain to Religion rather than politics or military policy.
Some will continue to argue that “but politics is closely related to religion” but this a specious argument utilized by those not well versed in civil and military policy and world politics.

Why would I pray to anyone who is not part of the Trinity?
I don't see a point in praying to humans when God is right there.
