Watching WBC Classic last night USA vs dominican republic

It was nauseating how far announcers were going to suck dominican d*ck. You could tell how bad they wanted dr to win. Puking wonderful, glowing accolades about every dr hitter and how each was MLB best at everything. When US hitters came to the plate………….crickets. Disgusting.

I think you're reading too much into it.
If you haven't been watching the tournament, the DR team has been ON FIRE offensively and the US team hasn't fired on all cylinders yet.
So yeah, they had every right to hype up the DR hitting. Didn't you see their stats for the tournament so far?

Jesus it was a great game. Great pitching by both teams. Fun to watch. Why not just enjoy the elite play rather than acting like a complete pychpath.

Wut? Announcers were solid. There was reason to hype the DR. Top to bottom, maybe the most talented team in the tourney. This is a great event, and one that the league is still trying to grow. There’s reason for them hyping up non-US teams anyway. Your average Joe tuning in doesn’t realize DR is stacked.
