SEC champ game fun to watch w more than a few dudes that confidently put the ball in the hole. Attitude, effort, talent makes for a fun game. 4 years of no talent has been hard to stomach.

A competent coach could turn things around quickly. That’s the only silver lining.

LSU has drained me of passion for March Madness. Seemingly, never hearing your school’s name called and getting to see them play in a tournament with 68 teams in it is a buzzkill.

No talent, no gameplan, no enthusiasm, minimal hustle, no improvement, no identity.

Haven’t had a single player drafted since McMahon took over too

Yea, it hasn’t been a talent issue. He’s had multiple top 20 classes, none of his classes ranked lower than Floridas championship class last year. He's had All-SEC guys and as many top 100 kids as the top half of the conf. He can’t coach, that’s the problem.

I thought Mcman developed all these players? Once Reed goes number 1 in the draft the haters will see lol

He has lost 40% of his starting lineup including his best players to season ending injury the past two seasons.

If Jaylen Reed is a starter for your team that is a 3-15 SEC team. Try again Tigersbb!

Again what you’re saying is 100% false. Dunno why you insist on repeating these debunked talking points.

Duke lost 2 starters, win the ACC & will be a 1 seed.

Texas Tech lost an all American player and are still making the tournament while playing in one of the toughest conferences in basketball.

Arkansas lost one of their key players & just won the SEC tournament.

Your argument/troll has no basis in reality.

They had already clinched an invite by the time he was injured

One. One. One Key player. Who? Take Acuff out and letssee what happens. ( And no I am not fricking saying Thomas is as good as Acuff)

What some of you refuse to copmprehend is you are comparing established programs who have been able to build thei rostes and name brand over several years or decades asa opposed to a coach inheriting an empty roster undder the cloud of potential draconian sanctions who then loses two starters to season ending injury in two consecutive seasons.

The only SEC schools with a longer NBA draft drought than LSU:

LSU - 2022
Mississippi State - 2020
Vanderbilt - 2020
Texas A&M - 2018
Ole Miss - 2010

NCAA appearances of those schools during McMahon era:

Mississippi State - 3 (2023, 2024, 2025)
Texas A&M - 3 (2023, 2024, 2025)
Ole Miss - 1 (2025)
Vanderbilt - 1 (2025)
LSU - 0

It’s mind boggling that McMahon still has a job in Baton Rouge.

How many starters did any of those teams lose to season ending injury during those seasons?

Any of them under NCAA investigation and potential draconian sanctions?

Draconian sanctions...1 scholarship. Reed would not start for any of the top 14 teams in conference u are making him out to be way better than he is. He would be at best 8th or 9th man on a mid level SEC team. McMahon has had higher rated recruiting classes than Golden the difference is Golden can actually coach. I now realize what the bb in tigersbb stands for .....but but as in Mcloser sucks but but......but but but but!

Irrelevant for the first two years the potential ultimate outcome was hanging over the program and used against LSU in recruiting.
Golden didn't have to recruit under these circumsances. Golden didn't lose two sarters to season ending injury two years in a row.
