Verizon was great, ATT had some issues, TMobile wasnt too good.

How is it now? Are all three solid everywhere?

I have Verizon. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I also had a t-mobile hot spot and it was better than my current Verizon hot spot.

Verizon is the provider of choice in the NOLA metro area, including the Northshore.

AT&T anywhere in Louisiana seems terrible in my opinion.

I have a verizon line and a tmobile line, I use T-Mobile as my primary line 99% of the time - coverage is fine and the speeds seem faster.

I've had Verizon, ATT and t mobile. T mobile is by far the best in the area for coverage especially in Madisonville. Verizon is awful

Been on Verizon for a log time and happy with it.

But changing from Charter home internet and Vexus Fiber appears to be bought out by T-Mobile. T-M also has some things that are of interest to me so looking at switching cell phones over as well.

That said, I don't want to take steps back in QOS, so these reality takes are helpful. Thanks everyone.

They all us the same towers. There’s no difference in 2026 gramps. Get yourself a Consumer Reports magazine, read it cover to cover, then decide.

Completely wrong. Some towers are owned by tower companies who lease to multiple cell companies (usually when municipalities limit where towers can be built) but many are owned and operated by one company. So there is 100% going to be variations in things like in building coverage, places where data lags, etc.

But to answer the OP I’ve had Verizon for well over 20 years and I’ve found that in the last year or so there are way more issues with data coverage. No in building data coverage on most of the lakefront in Mandeville. Doesn’t work inside of restaurants on Dalwhille drive in Mandeville, data totally drops getting off the interstate on exit 57 heading north almost to the roundabout by coquille park, have issues inside of homes in multiple subdivisions near city hall/police station. Total deadspot on 190 between the light at Walmart Neighborhood grocery by causeway approach to almost Lonesome road. That’s just the places I frequent. I’m sure there are more.

Not sure what’s going on but I never had these issues until recently. I’ve recently started to consider T-Mobile because it’s getting worse and not better.
