I just started listening. If you have listened to it, what are your thoughts on this interview? Should be interesting conversation I have listened to both of these guys a lot over the years.

I’ve not listened to this one yet but I will soon. I’ll update after I do.
The topic of exorcism is tough for me to believe until I see it with my own eyes. That said, I’ve listened to several of these podcast and they tell some wild stories. Absolutely wild.
Someone very close to me tells a story of being a child and seeing a persons eyes changing shapes into snake eyes for a few seconds.. Severial of the kids saw it..
I believe, but not convinced.

A priest friend of mine was an exorcists assistant while in the seminary in Rome. He saw some stuff that was insanely scary. No explanation except possession. shite movies get made out of.

There are two priest in our area that are the most serious hard-core priests I've ever been around.
One is a little more gracious and the other is all business all the time. The kind of stuff that when either walks in the room is different. There is a change around them. Like an aura. It's hard to describe.
I found out one of them if not both perform exorcisms.
After finding that out I don't doubt anymore. They would be the type to have to combat demons..... and win at all costs.
Legit spiritual warriors.
They've both brought me closer to my faith. Just knowing them. They make you want to know what they know.
Serious business.

Shawn Ryan is so lane and boring. Sits there like he’s so intellectual and introspective but then when he tries to ask a question, he can barely form a sentence. He ends up saying shite like “oh wow. And then what?” He sucks.

Fr Ripperberger makes all the podcast rounds, and is all over YouTube.
I tried to give it a listen but instantly Shawn launches into UFO’s and Aliens. No buildup or introduction, just straight into a bizarre topic. I couldn’t get past the first five minutes.

That's weird. I liked them getting right into crazy shite. Why would I need a detailed introduction? I thought this was one of the best interviews I've ever listened to but it is a lot take in and think about.

Cool. Now explain why Protestant preachers call Catholic Priests when they encounter possession?
Protestants that attack Catholics are nothing but insecure losers. So weak in their own faith they can’t help but tear others down. Sad really. So much energy burned doing the opposite of what Jesus commanded.

A lot of this stuff is sensationalism and people need better discernment. I get wary of all the "climbed walls and levitated" stuff. A lot of that has no basis in the New Testament. However, demonic possession is absolutely real and needs to be dealt with as our Lord commanded us. It is no surprise that has societies move away from the Lord that these things increase.
There is even more demonic oppression going on that I think is often overlooked. Dr. Richard Gallagher is a psychiatrist (very well regarded one) who has worked in cases of both. His book is very good. Dr. Karl Payne has book that is a must read too. (I have spoken with Dr. Payne, good guy). Gallagher is a Catholic and Payne is a fellow Baptist. They do good work.
But, then you have yahoos like Bob Larson...yeah stay away from that clown show.

It goes both ways. I see a lot of that from Catholics too. Both are wrong.
I am Baptist. So of course there is a lot, a loooot, of Catholic theology that I reject. But, does that mean Catholics aren't Christian? Not really. There are good Christ serving Catholics and they are no doubt followers of Christ. Then there are Catholics who are anything but saved; they rely on mass and rituals to ensure salvation while never submitting to Christ in the least and that don't work. Same can be said for Baptists. I had a deacon once that I am not sure was Christian at all. Discernment is needed.

Really interesting you say that and I agree.
Personal theory here, but I think he’s a CIA asset. His podcast took off like crazy and was all over my feed. He got hyper boosted in the algorithm for no reason and he came out of nowhere two or three years ago. And of course he use to work for the CIA.
I think his job is to get certain guest on and let them drive storylines. Because you’re right - he doesn’t know how to ask a good question yet he got boosted like crazy.
