Yet another position of need being addressed

When your top TEs are Juwan Johnson & Taysom Hill... you really needed an upgrade

Loomis & Moore ain't screwing around

Won't be the only TE gone. Good signing as we has JJ and no one else worth much.

like this, good depth if nothing else. feels like they're going hard on offense in FA and addressing the D in the draft

love the player as a receiving threat - does anyone have insight on his blocking capabilities? or is he JJ 2.0 (strong receiver, bad blocker)?

He is a legit receiver. The 2 TE sets are gonna pop.

We are getting aggressive with free agent signings. I like it.

Love this signing. Beats the drops and fumbles from Johnson

yeah about that...

Historic Fumble Issues: All three of his lost fumbles in the 2025 season were returned for touchdowns (fumble-sixes).

NFL Record: He became the first non-quarterback since at least 1978 to have three lost fumbles returned for touchdowns in a single season.

Context: These three fumbles occurred on only 34 receptions, meaning 8.8% of his catches resulted in a fumble-six for the opposing team.

Still happy to have a real #2 TE on the team.

Fant has more than twice as many inline blocking snaps (3,023) than Juwan Johnson (1,406) in just 27 more career games.

Not a great blocker but he’s about average. Still better than Taysom and Moreau

probably because he carries the ball while wearing those dumbass sleeves. No offensive player should wear arm sleeves. Increasing the chances of fumbling
