Fun fact. Louisiana is the 2nd wettest State. First is Hawaii.

It’s the worst flood I can recall in capital heights.

Ummm … it’s rain … in Louisiana … this is normal shite.
Don’t drive through Acadian, avoid low spots in your neighborhood, and it’s business as usual.

EBR was under a Flash Flood Warning
Here in the Millerville/ I-12 Area; neighbors Rain Gauge showed abt 5 1/2" of Rain
IMPRESSIVE DELUGE
Still some Storms over in the eastern Piney Woods of TX that could make for Round #2 around day break.

Out in the Central area; very very wet. Standing water inches deep in my backyard. Got some seepage in my laundry room. Somebody said rainfall gauge said 5.5 inches, that wouldn't surprise me

At 10:30 last night lightning struck something VERY close to my house. I would say it is the closest I have ever been to one. I’m anxious to go see what it hit when day breaks.

It must've missed me since we didn't much in rainfall but I went to bed early last night.

Yeah. Creek behind the house in Sherwood got high. A little too high for my comfort.
