It’s what I’m doing, my money, my obedience (self righteousness), my hearing from God, my wealth, my church, my everything.

It’s not what Jesus did for us, but what you’re doing for the church, or Him. It’s all ME focused, not Jesus focused, and that appeals to narcissists, but not God. You won’t hear the actual gospel in these churches, unless it can be twisted into you, what you’re doing, and money.

It’s all a shakedown, and that’s why you need the Bible, and anything that deviates from the gospel in what Jesus did for humanity that doesn’t deserve or earn it, then evac, get out of that poison.

ETA Since the "expert" has no answer, ill spoil for the rest of the class. No, in fact, the rate is not higher than thr population at large and nothing suggests it was an insane number but rather a normal rate just under the population as a whole.
