Hasn't tucker gone in depth how he was pressured by the Gov and networks to parrot this?

That sounds worse to me for him than just saying he changed his mind.

That’s suicide

How is that better?

That’s worse

Tucker has gone off the deep end, yes.

But that clip is misleading. He goes on to start making caveats to the statement but they are cut off. That's the definition of "out of context".

This isn't a gotcha. Tucker openly says his foreign policy takes throughout his career were stupid and he acknowledges he was wrong on just about everything.

So he’s always been an Islam firster?

but this time, he's spot on? look, i liked tucker on Fox back in the day because he seemed to be one of the few who spoke somewhat freely. his repositioning just stinks of "highest bidders narrative" talking points now, the industry standard.

Well you could just stop there in your thinking... or you could continue on and listen to his explanation on how major news media actually operates in this country.

I'm naturally curious so I did the latter.

Pretty standard stuff for 2012. It wasn't until 2016-2017 when there was a professed 180 on the neocon stuff by many conservatives, including Tucker.

Tucker just didn't do the 2nd 180 in 2025-2026 back to being pro-neocon of the WOT era (which 2012 encompasses)

So, who is pressuring Tucker now, since he admits to rolling over?

Which is an admission that he cannot be trusted.

If he could and did lie then, he could lie now.

Its even possible hes lying to you about the pressure in 2012.

All we know is he's a liar.

So should we believe him then or believe the lunatic acting version now.

I have never known a lunatic who was a lunatic and then became sane. Sadly there have been people who I have known who seemed sane and later were afflicted with mental illness.

Sadly Tucker seems to be an example of this.

Listening to him over the last eight years, he has consistently said that his beliefs on this, and the Iraq war, were wrong.

Similarly Trumps declaration that he would end the Ukraine War day one - he’s obviously changed his mind on that

In 2012, I thought it looked good to put gel in my hair. Now I don't have hair to put gel in. Things change.

I wouldnt. It's common knowledge that the Government doesn't pressure the media in anyway to sway an audience. Tucker is wrong.
