I would imagine that the OS that launches with the Xbox will have a modified version of windows that has a more traditional console UI that most console/controller users would expect. But it will probably be able to be toggled on and off kind of like how it is on the Xbox handheld.

If a PS2 emulator can be installed, this Xbox will have a better PlayStation library than anything that Sony is making.

Could it still end up being a good value price wise as a gaming PC? It almost has to be otherwise whats the point for most folks?

The YouTuber, Moores law is dead, speculates based on leaked hardware specs that the new Xbox will be equivalent to a 5080 PC. If you can get the whole package for $1000-1300 it’s amazing.

So due to price they will probably be attracting fewer customers from console space but potentially many more from gaming PC space. It will be interesting to see if they offer any lower priced sku for the long time XBOX customers who this thing simply prices out of purchase.
