At first I was against all of this due to our financial position but I think all of this actually secures our place in the world and the dollar dominance.

BRICS is a fake consortium comprised of countries that hate each other and don't agree on anything and would stab each other in the back at the first chance for a few pennies.
It was "created" by a guy at Goldman Sachs to package together their less-than-stellar investments in a way that made them somewhat attractive... people kept talking about it like it was a real thing, like the G7 or something, so they decided to have meetings... where they don't get anything done because they're all at odds or have little common interests.
