Being in Trump’s military must be sick

Obviously there’s a bit of danger…

But Trump lets the military do the insane shite they’re actually capable of doing. No boots on the ground and not trying to build lesbian schools for Afghans… just kicking arse taking names and coming back home.

There's two very distinct parts of the military, people who got in to do some badass stuff and protect the country and people who got in to collect a paycheck and get federal retirement. The latter are really upset with being deployed.

Note all the meritorious ceremonies and celebrations of honor in service for OUR Nation as of late. This is strategic. He’s building/re building the patriotic soldier. The heavies on this Board know why.

Law only exists because of the Gun behind it.

The military was still doing some cool shite regardless of the President. The only difference is getting to do cool shite and not having to worry about the circus side programs democrats try to implement. Hegseth is the real difference maker in my opinion. Cleaning up fitness standards is a big one for me

Reminds me of Rush Limbaugh’s quote about his thoughts about the military vs the Dems military social experiment… ” the purpose of the military is to kill people and break things.”

Not really. I served under Reagan, Bush 1, and early part of Clinton.

The ROE changes under Clinton made fighting very difficult. It was night and day different.

Every one gets federal retirement now. Serve your first contract then say you're sad and you're pecker don't work. 100 percent disability for life.

I heard even under Obama the ROE was difficult. Common link with Clinton and Obama. Both are lawyers.

This is why I’m also thankful for Hegseth being SOW. He’s all about reigning down hell.

I've had some really good bosses. One of the things I've respected in former bosses is their ability to do the job they're asking you to do. They recognize talent and they cull the losers. Hegseth in that regard is a badass. He isn't some fatass sitting in an office clicking a button on the screen. He certainly isn't wearing a dress and makeup. He's able to do the things he's implementing across the military himself. This is the guy I want in leadership.

This is the Department of War. There ARE winners and there ARE losers. This administration is training to WIN.

That’s probably true and I don’t disagree with you. I’ve served under Bush 2, Obama, Biden and Trump twice and nothing has changed with how my platform has approached the mission.

That might not be true for everyone but it’s just my experience. This isn’t me saying I wouldn’t pick Trump 100% of the time to lead our military by the way.

Like the purpose of schools is to teach science math English and a few other core subjects. But Dems F up whatever they get involved with

Yes and no. A lesser warrior wouldn't be pushing through half the stuff he has, but none of it gets done without the complete faith, buy-in and resistance-blocking from the Office of the President.
