HOMEWOOD, Alabama: 19-year-old Kynath William Terry, Jr. fatally shot 24-year-old new mother Precious Elicia J’anae Johnson inside a Birmingham-area hospital Sunday night before turning the gun on himself. Officers responded around 9:25 p.m. to reports of gunshots at the Women’s Medical Center inside Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital.
When they arrived, both Terry and Johnson were found dead from gunshot wounds. Johnson was a patient at the hospital at the time of the incident. Authorities say preliminary findings indicate the case was an apparent murder-suicide. The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office described it as a domestic assault. No other patients or staff were injured.

I doubt the perp looks anything like that photo.
They always pick the last innocent age photo for the criminals.

Awful, just awful. What a POS. Wonder if there was any paternity disputes at play here or just didn't want to be a man and be responsible for his new family?

That's awful... what a terrible way to welcome a precious child into the world.

There's a component to murder/suicide that sets shite like this in motion.. Suicide is not OK. Ever. Not for depression. And not for this. Society cannot function if this ever becomes acceptable. And to this person, he decided that his own life was not worth it so then, why not take others with him?
It started with him somehow not valuing his own life. There's no "get out of jail free" card because you've decided forfeiting your own life is OK.

Thank God this POS didn't shoot any patients, nurses, etc. Chickshites like him are usually so unstable they want as many as possible to suffer. Will be interesting to see what comes out about why this happened.

Yep if the names don’t make sense, neither do the expected outcomes.

He was just really stressed about how he was going to pay the hospital bill and still take care of his new baby and mother. The thought of getting a third job and still going to night school was just too much for him.

My dad had guns since he was a kid and he somehow didn’t murder my mom. I had guns hanging on a gun rack in my bedroom when I was 12 and have owned them ever since. I never murdered my wife. My son had guns hanging on the exact gun rack I used since he was 12 and he didn’t murder his wife. I guess three generations of women were very lucky none of these guns murdered them.

Family is saying they were married, and it was his kid she had just given birth to before this.
It kind of seems like it might not have been his. Something triggered this to the point of him having to to do this at the hospital.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Precious Johnson, 24, died after being shot multiple times. Family told WVTM 13 that she had just given birth to their first child and was a patient at the hospital. Kynath Terry Jr., 19, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Both deaths were part of a murder-suicide domestic assault, according to the coroner and police. Johnson and Terry were married, according to family.
