LSU during first reveal was number 8 overall (moved up one spot). Iowa jumped LSU for the 6 spot

We all know how this goes.. lsu had looked like a lock for a 2 seed in previous seasons, even more than they do this year. That petty committee who hates Kim will still have them as a damn 3 seed. I’m not big into conspiracy but this has been blatant.

They should be ahead of Vandy and Iowa. Yes they lost early and yes they lost a close 1 to South Carolina and on the road at Texas. It should be where they are now and not the first 2 sec games

Every game counts. If we’re just going to base seedlings on the last few games, then just play a regular season with 10 games.

This is not an invincible South Carolina team, and LSU lost at home, never leading in the second half. And that game was 2 weeks ago.

LSU is appropriately seeded as a 2.

I think if they win today and win the sec tournament, they have a shot at a one seed .

LSU is 5th in the NET ratings, the objective measure which the committee is supposed to use. (Iowa is 10th).

But we always get dinged for having a coach with conservative values.

LSU is currently paired with number one overall seed UConn for second year in row

I'd rather be the 3 seed in another region than the 2 seed in UCONN's.

Does the regional assignment mean LSU could play UConn in opening round at LSU?

The committee also provided regional assignments for all 16 seeds. Fort Worth 1 consists of UConn, LSU, Louisville and Maryland.

No elite 8 if both teams win to that point

Yawn. Two or three seed doesn’t really matter. You both reach the Sweet Sixteen, you play each other at a neutral site. Whoever wins is slated to play the top seed in the Elite Eight.

Your path to the Final Four is exactly the same as a two or a three. So what does it matter? If the committee is trying to stick it to LSU, they could do a helluva lot worse.

I'm still confused as to how the 2nd lowest #2 seed, get's paired with the top overall #1. The 2nd lowest #2 seed is SUPPOSED to be paired with the 2nd highest #1 seed. Are they doing this because they don't want LSU paired with UCLA for the third year in a row? I don't get it.

They might have us as the lowest 2 seed

Looks like Carolina got the easiest draw. Go figure!

I’d probably take my chances against Cori close in the elite 8 than Geno but that’s me

Even last year with all of LSU’s flaws on a less talented and thin team they had a shot to beat ucla but MK and KG couldn’t throw it into the ocean

Miss st on the road today would give LSU another quad one win. And quarter final in SECT should be another quad one win opportunity

2 seed is just about right but hope we can be in another group instead of UConn

Us and Vanderbilt can only be placed in UConn or UCLA’s bracket. And I guess they don’t want to put the top 1 seed and top 2 seed together. So we get stuck there by default.

Yeah, I'm not much of a WBB fan. I know we're good, but it's just not a sport I enjoy watching.

But seedings are a universal concept; it's supposed to be 1v8, 2v7 etc. Reward the top seed by pairing them with the weakest #2 seed.

Unless this report has some other service's rankings overlaid with the projections...
