You pick your poison if we make it to the Elite Eight. Who would prefer in a regional final: Texas, SC or UCLA? I'm not convinced that UConn is more "unbeatable" that the other teams.

If I had to choose any of those 4 I'd say Texas. I think SC is beatable too but we seem to have a mental block against them come crunch time.

I'd rather be the 3 seed in another region than the 2 seed in UCONN's.

Yeah U conn looks like the best team this yr.

Does the regional assignment mean LSU could play UConn in opening round at LSU?

Im torn rather I would want to face UCLA or UCONN. UCLA is bigger but their overall talent is not as good. UCONN definitely has a better coach. Even with their weak arse schedule Vegas has UCONN as a huge favorite to win the championship so I guess rather play UCLA.

I agree with this...
I just dont understand how they are keeping LSU in the bracket with UCONN no matter what happens. Even as the number 6 ranking, LSU should not be in the same bracket as UCONN. Number 8 ranking should be in UCONN bracket as the lowest 2 seed.

Well we KNOW we can beat Texas. We've done it before so if there was any team to play it would be texas first.
After that its a toss up with SC and UCLA...
SC - we should've beaten them but gave it away. We have a shot!
UCLA - we couldve beaten them last year and we have a better team this year. We also had multiple players that didnt show up for spurts of that game last year. UCLA is also getting the benefit of not really playing much of anyone but a few games. They lost to Texas.
Uconn would Def be the matchup id want the least ... they have DOMINATED every game they've played. It would be nice to see a high scoring up and down game against LSU but I wouldnt want to test it.

LSU is actually ranked #7 in the NCAA's latest top 16 reveal. As was stated before, I do believe the reason they have us in the bracket with UConn is because they don't want the SEC teams being #1 and #2 in any bracket, which means that Vandy gets moved to either UCLA or UConn, and by default LSU gets UConn because between the two, they are CURRENTLY the lowest #2. I think if LSU can make a run to the SEC tournament championship game, there's a chance to change that.
