This is a good example of how social media has retarded our population.

Facebook? Not a member but if you havnt seen the pushback on inviting the US hockey team to SOTU address you need to move up from your parents house. Don’t you agree that it was the greatest US Olympic win since the one during Carter Presidency? I was just pointing out that it is an American tradition to invite them to SOTU address. Learn from it.

I've seen the pushback but it's mostly just miserable people who bitch about everything in life. Just ignore them.

No. Gymnastics team in Atlanta was more improbable and first time ever. Kerri Strug > Hughes guy

Not really a conspiracy guy but go look at the comments that bash Hughes on IG. There’s some critique for sure but a ton of these accounts are bots.
Not surprising that arguably one of the most patriotic moments in a decade potentially became a target for Chinese/Russian bots that want to see us further divided.

Few have a problem with it, and if I’d done anything at all remarkable I would have went too.
You just have to realize that Trump is a narcissist and will use you to swipe at his political enemies like he did by sharing the AI video of Brady Tkachuck.
Was it a headache for Brady who plays in the capital of Canada? Sure, but wasn’t the troll of Canada glorious?

You don't need to be a big conspiracy guy to understand that intelligence agencies working for our foreign enemies are using bot farms to foment dissent and misery in the US.

Rise above politics people. The President (whomever it is) invited you, you go and enjoy the moment and make your countrymen proud. Playing politics with stuff like this is juvenile.

Great event yes and I'm a hockey fan.. This was not like some extremely far fetched outcome. Canada was favored to win, but we weren't far behind. This wasn't 1980

I don't think many people have a problem with it, you are just obsessed with your social feeds that make you outraged.

I haven’t heard a peep because I was too busy in the real world to waste time on social media or the news this week. I think you should reassess your idea of what normal people living real lives are like.
