If tweet fails to load, click here. Those dirty sissies. The say that they will vote for the bill, but they are unwilling to do the things that would bring the bill to the floor. This is why America is screwed. Republicans are cowards and are an embarrassment to the party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and Reagan.

If tweet fails to load, click here. quote:
- Thom Tillis (R-NC, co-sponsor): Firm no on motion to proceed without avoiding filibuster changes.
- John Curtis (R-UT, co-sponsor): Opposes any move seen as breaking filibuster rules.
- Mitch McConnell (R-KY): Hasn't backed the bill.
- Lisa Murkowski (R-AK): Opposes the bill outright.
Thune says no GOP consensus for the weeks-long process.

Even though I disagree with the reasoning of Tillis and Curtis at least their issue is the filibuster changing.
WTF to McConnell and Murkowski. What about the bill don't you support? Just stupid!

The usual RINO suspects. Notice that there is no such thing as a DINO(Democrat In Name Only). Those bastards are dug in for their cause through hell & high water.

So Collins is a Yes? A little surprised

At least 4 Republican senators are a no or leaning no on a talking filibuster to pass the SAVE America Act with 50+1 votes, per Punchbowl.
It's beyond time to start giving these people shite assignments and denying their input on bills. Especially spending bills.

Where is Fetterman? Even with 4 republicans against it, fetterman would get us to 50 and allow Vance to put it over the top.

The filibuster was never actually "created" by the Founding Fathers—it was essentially an accidental loophole that appeared in 1806. Since then, the Senate has overhauled the rules several times to rein in obstruction, usually during moments of national crisis or extreme gridlock.
Majority Leader Harry Reid used a parliamentary maneuver (the "nuclear option") to change the rules. In oither words, 50+1. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell used it.
So pardon me for seeing past the "Opposes any move seen as breaking filibuster rules". They are lying POS that are either being pid or are IGNORANT and need to be removed.

Finally get a simple majority, and the people who claim to support it won’t bring it to the floor over a procedural issue.
Outright bullshite.
Outright bullshite.

Trump needs to actively start putting an unbearable amount of pressure on these 4. In public and behind closed doors. Their name needs to stay in his mouth.
Mitch needs to be removed from office. He's not fit.
This bill MUST pass ASAP.

It's all bullshite. She's acting like she's a "yes" because she knows it will never come to a vote. They let the people who are "safe" be the bad guys.
It's why they all have weird vote patterns where they vote (or don't vote) for something that is opposite what they and their constituents support. It's because they know it won't pass (or will pass with or without their vote) so it's a meaningless gesture that they all take turns doing.

I've never been able to trust anyone named Thom.

It's the Way of Mitch.

Gotta have 60 to end the filibuster and bring it to a vote. You can pass it with 51 but you don't get the chance to vote on it without being able to end "debate" first.

This. It's done all the time.

So if that's true, they need to put unfathomable pressure on Tillis and Curtis.
Murkowski and McTurtle will not flip. They're straight-up Democrats at this point. Turtle already took his ball and went home, and has embraced the role of being a pain in the arse for the short remainder of his career.
