If agreed upon rules of the proceeding is that there are not photos allowed, there is most definitely something wrong with it. There are all sorts of procedures that we are all compelled to follow even if we think they are stupid or unnecessary. You refer to a judge as "Your Honor". You wear a uniform when it is required. You don't wear a tank top and flip flops to a funeral. Most adults understand that the price of admission is to follow simple rules.
