Southern Classic Chicken Coming to Hammond

They're just breaking ground. I seem to remember reading on here that it's pretty good but nothing showed up in the search function. Is it worth a visit?

The one in Lafayette had cars lined up a 1/4 mile down the road when it opened. Today you never see a single car at that place at noon or 6 p.m. ?

I ate it one time in Jennings and it was spicy as all get out. Is that the norm, or did I just get a one off? I told the kids they could not get it. They can't handle Popeyes spicy.

It’s better than any of the other fast food chicken. It may not be the absolute best out there, but it is my go to when it’s close.

They are building it 900' from possibly the worst Popeyes in the world!

It was an hour wait for 2 months. Not a single care now. I don't understand people in Lafayette anymore.

I think that’s a different Southern. The upcoming one in Hammond is Southerns which has a single location in Metairie and it is great.
