Seems like a ton of folks here were wanting him to play in place of Braswell last year.

It was hard to be a worse hitter than Braswell last year, so it seemed like there was only upside for Reaves. But Reaves never did much at the plate either and his defense was not in the same stratosphere as Braswell’s.

He doesn't do anything well enough to get as much PT as he gets. He has some value as a competent left handed bat.

He'll do the routine stuff defensively, but he's shown time and time again that you can't rely on him to make plays that guys at this level should make.

Calling everything an experiment has got to end. Reaves needs to play less, as well.

And again. He made hard contact last year. This year he’s lost at the plate.

I’m now on the bandwagon. Tanner Reaves is a defensive liability and looks absolutely lost at the plate. It’s time to park him on the bench.

Fixed that for you. Hasn’t done anything particularly well in field either. He’s our anchor so far.

Why does it have to end? Why can’t it go on until we start getting close to post season?

Is he one of those players that practices really well but can’t find it in games?
