All this talk of blindly trusting Trump on economics and tariffs is hilarious. Don't question Trump’s competency? Did people just forget that Trump was in office when that whole COVID-19 fiasco went down?

Govt shutdowns and then printing money-
Trump was in office when the first two rounds of COVID-19 stimulus checks were authorized and signed into law in 2020. He signed the $2.2 trillion CARES Act in March 2020 and a second $900 billion package in December 2020. The third round of checks was signed by President Joe Biden in March 2021.

Confusion on Treatment-
Trump spoke about whether disinfectant could be used internally, asking, "Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?".

Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of Lysol and Dettol, issued a statement that "under no circumstance" should their products be administered into the human body.

The following day, Trump claimed he was asking a "sarcastic question" to reporters, though many noted he appeared to be speaking seriously to his medical experts at the time.

Trump floated the idea of "hitting the body with a tremendous ultraviolet or just very powerful light".

He further wondered if the light could be brought "inside the body," suggesting it could be done "either through the skin or in some other way".

Dr. Deborah Birx, then the White House coronavirus response coordinator, told him directly during the briefing that she had not heard of heat or light being used "as a treatment".

Hydroxychloroquine: Trump frequently promoted this malaria drug as a "game changer," despite a lack of clinical evidence at the time and subsequent studies showing it had no benefit for COVID-19.

Early in the pandemic, he suggested the virus would "miraculously" go away by April as the weather warmed up.

Comments on China-
Throughout early 2020, Trump expressed appreciation for China's efforts in tweets and interviews, specifically praising President Xi for his "hard work" and "transparency" on January 24, and calling China "extremely capable" and disciplined on February 7 and 13. As late as February 23, he continued to commend Xi for doing a "very good job".

By mid-March 2020, as the pandemic escalated, Trump’s tone shifted significantly to blaming China for lack of transparency and calling the disease the "Chinese Virus". When asked about his earlier comments, he maintained they were based on the information he had at the time.

I remember Dims wouldn't take the jab under Trump. Under Biden they wanted everyone forced to take it.

LOL.

Yep... Trump definitely stood in the way of a well coordinated and highly effective government response based entirely on science. Yes, the democrats were very cooperative and supportive.

Does TDS acknowledge that after what occurred at the CDC in Jan-Feb 2020, no one was going to do a better job than Trump did handling that shitfest. Or does that exceed your capacity.

Cedars-Sinai was doing a UVA trial at the time. Birx was either ignorant, or intentionally dismissive.

UVA therapy may provide a novel approach in the fight against COVID-19.

Not that you would educate yourself, here is the trial info:
I don’t trust Birx and Fauci

After reading all of this, it is easy to see how TDS riddled that you are. Very few people applied logic and common sense at that time.

Fear ruled the day.

Trump managed some incredibly shitty circumstances, all while being advised by “St. Fauci,” considered at that time to be the world’s preeminent authority (never mind that we now know that he was simply covering his culpability).

Despite all of this insanity, Trump did one thing that I wholeheartedly agree with, he gave power to the states, as opposed to consolidating it.

That is probably your biggest grievance.

Goose-steppers love centralized government.

You do you, but stretch your hammies so you don’t injure yourself.

Sure, sure.

Virology and health is so similar to business.

That's like saying I shouldn't trust my son to teach me MarioKart because he got a D on his English Essay.

I remember he naively trusted the very people who were responsible for it in the first place and then failed to understand their lies and deceit were just another avenue utilized to take him and his administration down. That was the failure and weakness that will be remembered by history.

The hope is that he learned and can avoid such obvious traps moving forward…

Anybody that voted for Kamala should lose their Right to vote. This is exactly why Democracy sucks. The Founders loathed , feared and nullified (pure) Democracy via the Constitution. And they were very wise to do so.

.

Ahem..

While travel restrictions to China was being pushed..

quote:

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in San Francisco on Monday spending several hours visiting Chinatown to encourage people to visit the shops and restaurants there amid fears of the coronavirus.

Later..

Follow the "science"

quote:

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pushed back Friday against the Catholic archbishop of San Francisco's criticism of COVID-related restrictions, saying he should "follow science" rather than advocate for fuller in-person gatherings for Mass and worship.

All which was written and passed by a highly partisan and Trump hating democrat controlled house.

quote:

Confusion on Treatment- Trump spoke about whether disinfectant could be used internally, asking, "Is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning?".

Which was in theory, actually studied

Infusion of blood from people with Covid antibodies.

quote:

Conclusions Our study demonstrated a significant rate of passive transfer of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein IgG antibodies through platelet transfusions. Considering the volume of daily platelet transfusions, this is something all clinicians should be aware of.

quote:

Hydroxychloroquine: Trump frequently promoted this malaria drug as a "game changer," despite a lack of clinical evidence at the time and subsequent studies showing it had no benefit for COVID-19.

From which the democrats falsely proclaimed that it was for veterinary use only. And was, in fact, a cheap.. lifesaving drug regularly used in humans.

And... also... the NIH has confirmed that in some recipients... the drug was actually effective.

The "horse paste" was actually effective in some studies.

quote:

Hydroxychloroquine is effective, and consistently so when provided early, for COVID-19: a systematic review

quote:

Just like the democrats telling everyone to go visit the Chinese shops and restaurants because of "Trumps xenophobia" while later forcing the arrest of people attending religious services and alone on a beach??

Yes because a once a century viral pandemic is identical to conducting routine economic policy.

I trust my investment gains from 2017 to 2020 ( member the magic wand comment btw?) and from 2025 to present.

And for a point of order here... you worshipped the president that did this....

Obama admin sent taxpayer funds to the Wuhan lab... a few years before the virus leaked out.

quote:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Guy Reschenthaler (PA-14) recently uncovered $1.1 million in Obama-era taxpayer funding funneled to the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) through the EcoHealth Alliance. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) awarded this funding. The WIV is a Chinese Communist Party lab with ties to Chinese military research and a suspected origin site of COVID-19 pandemic.

Sooo...

Which programming source commanded you to regurgitate this and embarrass yourself? Going to go back and believe them again?

You can consider this a learning experience and shut off and reject your programming sources... or you can prove absolute stupidity and return to them after being shown this.

Your choice.
