Guy explains it’s total failure to Congress, and to get out now. Remember when they tried to penalize you if you didn’t have insurance, lol

The Dems never intended for Obamacare or Economic Policy to be successful, but rather to implode the Systems and make Socialism the fix. DEI “social justice “ is their goal. And they will never change their supposedly ‘moral’ cause. Watch them all get rich in the process. Jesus would pull out his whip and clean out the Halls of Congress if he were here.

Our present health care system sucks? Ok. Fix it!

It was fine before Obamacare, the democrats f’ed it up. My health insurance before Obamacare was $180 a month and I had better coverage than what I’m paying $853 a month for now.

You are comparing your health insurance premium almost 20 years ago to today? Wow.
The rate of increase before 2010 was already high.

Found the last idiot in America that thinks Obamacare works

What part of better coverage at a much cheaper price did you not grasp?

absolutely = their sole intent is to make everyone totally dependent on the federal gov't handouts.

Just another nonsense "credo" that nobody can explain - but keeps the "useful idiots" occupied with their constant 'protests' against any intelligent, logical citizen who tries to live a normal life.

Prior to that ACA. Crap when peoples cost were 180.00 as that gentleman saw it had hovered in that range for quite a long time. The point of your statement that you can’t judge something from 20 years ago is a crap take as what made everything explode in cost ? Government money heading into private companies will increase costs as it did in college education

I signed up for Obamacare in 2013 or 14. I bought the most expensive plan blue cross blue shield platinum plan because I needed some surgery and I wanted the lowest deductible and best care. I had also heard that most doctors didn’t accept the standard lower form of Obamacare because it didn’t pay enough.
I made too much money to get any subsidies and I was single
The first year I paid $400 a month second year 600 a month 3rd 900 4th 1150 a month for a single man in his 40’s. It seems like it went up to 1300 and then back down to 1200 after that. Of course these numbers didn’t all end in 00, it’s been awhile so getting close.
Eventually I bought insurance through a broker. Started a group plan at my small business, only had one employee agree to join and he quit after 2 years. By now my son was living with me. I still have blue cross: Pay $1200 a month for my son and I. The deductible is higher than it was with Obamacare. Equal plans other than that
Single payer is expensive.

It sucks? Is that why those with the means come here for life saving treatment?
It sucks? That’s why we are the world leader in new medical developments, treatments, surgeries, and drugs?
It sucks? That’s why millions across the globe have access to life saving drugs and treatments that were created and developed here in America?
It sucks because you can go in for testing today and have your life saving surgery within a week?
Good, cheap, fast.
Pick 2. We have fast and good.

Obamacare is a disaster and has been from the start.
You want proof? My old PCP (for decades) was all for Obamacare. We argued over it. He was immovable.
Within a month of the Sebelius decision, he stopped taking all insurance and went to a subscription based "boutique" practice.

Democrats create terrible thing. Democrats to Republicans when “thing” completely fails, “you better fix this shite now!”

Yes, and the Republicans screamed and hollered for 7-8 years that they would fix or repeal Obamacare and, as usual, they didn’t do anything constructive.
I detest both parties- government is corrupt and morally compromised. It is not for the people.

The problem is Rs have had 15 years to do something about it and all they’ve ever come up with is unserious dogshit.
The ACA is certainly flawed but the fact of the matter is we know there are millions of republicans (in red states) enrolled because it’s the best option they have.
The “scoreboard” is quite clear on this issue, despite the very online right wing saying otherwise. This is a spot they’re just not in tune w reality.

Thing is, I remember 20 years ago watching tv shows (news shows, not shows like ER) about people who would get sick and lose the house, business, etc. There is a lot less of that now. So that's one good thing.
Second, I like the fact that you can't get screwed if someone in your family is born or develops a preexisting condition.
Third, we have more and better drugs created in the last twenty years. Incredible machines in many ER's. But they are not cheap. If you wanna do without these contraptions and these potions, we can do it and your prices will go right back down. But I'd rather pay more and be able to get a really good MRI or Catscan.

Obamacare was built to fail. Prove me wrong. You can’t.

Mine went from $564 to 3200 with hard deductibles and I lost my doctor and I lost the insurance company that I had. that happened in one month
