Is it too late on the north shore to apply? I don't want to waste money if so.

No - most late winter-spring weed seeds have not germinated yet, but best to apply and water in ASAP.

It's not too late. If you can't water in I'd wait till next rain.

Fyi Bioadvanced has a new granular product that has the same chemical as Specticle. I'm going to give it a try.

I applied mine last week in Lafayette and think I nailed it with the rain. But I also will spray my dormant Bermuda with some roundup on spots of sticker weed and over I see popping up.

It is never too late. Yes, you might miss some that have germinated but you'll prevent the rest.

Same here in North Louisiana with great results. My wife and I were driving through the neighborhood yesterday and it's amazing how different the yards looks compared to those that obviously didn't use a pre-emergent. I applied another round last week before it rained so hopefully it continues to do its thing.

Thats great news. I wonder how it prices compared to the specticle flo. I've been using my $400 bottle for a few years and have at least one more application out of it. (roughly 15k feet of yard to cover)

To avoid this set a schedule so your not trying to time it. Example I use.half rate of prodiamine in September. Another half rate of prodiamine in December. In February full rate of Specticle® FLO in February.
